Great strides were taken to initiate sub-assemblies (cell manufacturing). With in-house wiring, panel manufacturing, plastic vacuum forming of belt guards and fan shrouds, marine and industrial enclosure assembly, foam cutting and installation, and small component assembly, the company became better equipped to meet the production floor needs. Sales offices were also created to cover Asia and Europe to meet the overseas demands for the Norpro product. At the very end of 2005 Norpro introduced its "Best in the Industry Warranty" offering a 5 year 5000 hour warranty that covers the unit completely from belt guard to genend.
