At the Miami Boat Show, Norpro unveiled its newest line of generators powered by the popular Yanmar series of diesel engines. These units are the smallest generators on the market, are ultra light, ultra quiet, compact, and feature the latest technological innovations and features. Norpro also began setting up a distributor network strategically placed in the major markets around the country. By requiring the distributors to stock a quantity of generators, customers receive their units in an orderly and timely fashion. To handle increased volume Norpro moved to a new production facility in East Haddam, CT. The new building tripled all office and production space and attained four more acres for a proposed distribution warehouse.
